A Wedding, A Reunion, and A Birthday...

This weekend was super busy and full of fun! Friday evening, Michael and I went to our friends' wedding. Aaron and Kristin were married at the Grand Loft in Osawatomie, KS. We went early and checked into our hotel and headed to the wedding. Unfortunually, we got followed the wrong directions and ended up in Paola and then back to Osawatomie to the wedding. But, it worked out ok, we did make it there even if we were a little late... The wedding was beautiful and they looked so happy! Kristin looked gorgeous in her dress! And, the reception was so much fun! It was great to celebrate with them and get to see all our friends!

Sat morning, we went back to Shawnee. We took it easy the rest of the day. That night, we headed to Morgan and Jason's for a pizza and movie night. If you haven't see Juno, you should! It's pretty good! Also, thanks to them for watching Lola for the weekend! They are wonderful and make it possible for us to travel without the hassle of her!

On Sunday, we got up early and went to church. Afterwards, we packed and took off for Horton. That afternoon we went to my 10 year alumni reunion. It was lots of fun. I got to see a bunch of people I haven't seen in forever and show off my cute hubby! =) We headed to one of my friend's parent's house later that evening and didn't leave til 11 at night! It was fun to reminisce and catch up on everyone's lives. We stayed the night at my parent's house.

Monday, we got up and headed to Lake Perry. Michael's parent's have a boat and slip out there. We got together for his mom's birthday. It was fun and relaxing! Tyler was super cute as always! Happy Birthday Janis! After the day up there, we headed home. I tried to do a little tidying up...the house still needs some work since I neglected it all weekend! Also, I can use some extra sleep tonight! But, it was a really great weekend.

Birthday Party and Graduations...

This was a very busy weekend. Friday, we met out at Tanner's for to celebrate Lynsey's birthday! It was lots of fun!

Sat, we got up early and met my family in Atchison for my brother, Jason's graduation at Benedictine. It was very long, but we're proud of him! That night, we hung out in Horton with the family. We played Imagine-if...it's fun if you've never played! Sunday, we went to church, then got ready for another graduation. Kelsey graduated from highschool. I can't believe she's that old! She's going to be going to Washburn this fall. Afterwards, we came back to the house and had a graduation party for her and Ja. It was fun to see family, family friends, and teachers! We got back late Sunday, and I still need to catch up on sleep!

And, a picture from last weekend...just cause he's too cute! Doesn't he look like he's up to something?!

Also, I gave my mom her mother's day present... she loved it! Thanks to Lynsey for making it! You can check out her website, sugar bean designs on the right side of this page!

Lazy Weekend

A pretty boring weekend...Friday night, Michael and I went to The Mix off the Plaza for date night. It was really good! On our way home, we spotted a farris wheel and decided to see what was going on. It was Mission days. We walked around a bit then headed home.

Sat evening, we headed to Lynsey's for an early Mother's Day dinner. The food was really good and it was fun to hang out with the family! Tyler is getting so big and grown up! But, he's still super cute! We need to see him more often!

Sunday, Michael and I had a very lazy day... We went to the late morning church service, then came home and took a long nap. Later, we ate at Trolley's in Olathe...it was ok, but not what we were wanting. We were looking for a good diner...you know the old fashion type. If anyone knows of one that's around, please let us know!

Monday, Lynsey came over and created my present for Mother's day for my mom. I helped a little! Yes, I know it's late, but I won't be home til this weekend, so it's ok! I'll reveal what we did when she gets it this weekend! I'm excited, she's going to love it.

Hero and a Bach Party

This was an exciting weekend! Friday night, Michael had guy's night. So, I invited Dana over for a girl's night. We had a blast. We ordered in pizza and played guitar hero! (Oh, by the way, I forgot to post that I ordered the game and two guitars for Michael from ebay. I got a good deal, and he was so surprised and excited!) It was great, and we took pictures!

Sat, Michael and I ran errands. That night, I had a bach party to go to for Kristin. We had so much fun. We had food and presents at her house, then a limo came and picked us up to go out. We hit the Power and Light District. The limo service got our names on a couple lists at the bars, so we didn't have to wait in line. We were VIP's! My favorite was Howl at the Moon. It's a great place where they get the crowd to participate in the fun. I think she had a great time.

Sunday, Michael worked outside and I took Lola to the dog park to meet up with Steph and Badger. Lola loves all the other dogs, people, the water, and not being on a leash! It went great until we were on our way back towards the entrance. All the sudden I couldn't see her. We looked all over for her...by the entrance, back by the water.... We headed towards the entrance again....and see her on a leash held by two park police! Oh, how embarrassing....guess she ran through the tree line a ways! They were really nice and said she was great and loved riding in the cop car~ they have an opening for a canine dog in their unit! Maybe Lola needs to start making a living...hum...j/k! She slept so good that night!

Yesterday was Michael and I's 1st wedding anniversary! We went and ate at Bonefish. It was a good night. Can't believe it's been a whole year! It was a great one!
