Day with the Rice Family

This last weekend, my family came to KC for father's day. We had them over to our house for lunch. It was our first married dinner! We had mini burgers on Hawaiian sweet rolls, Italian salad, honey baked beans, home-made ice cream and a rice krispi roll. It was a great meal. I would like to thank Janis for the wonderful ice cream maker! That was the first time we used it, it's great and super easy! I think I'll make some more tonight!

After lunch, we headed to the stadium. The game was good, we won by 1 run! Then, headed back to our house. We watched a little video from the wedding on my dad's camcorder. It was pretty funny watching everyone dance and have a good time! They left around 6pm. It was a good, but exhausting day!

Check out our Picts!

Ok, everyone has been asking to see the wedding pictures. I am thinking the best way to show our pictures is with Kodak Gallery. There are a bunch, and I even deleted a ton! Hope you enjoy them! They are on the right side of this page under links! With Kodak, you can save, print, or share them!

We just got married!

Well, I have been married for almost a month now, May 5th, 2007. I can't believe how fast time flies by! I couldn't believe how fast the wedding approached. We planned for about a year, and then it comes, and then it's over. Now what do I do with all the time? I'll add a link to our wedding picts soon!

The wedding was so much fun! Most things went smooth! All my girls were wonderful and helped me so much. I have had so much fun spending extra time with them for the wedding details and parties! The day of the wedding was a blurr as it seemed to go super fast! Getting ready was fun, but I was nervous to be in front of so many people! But, once I started walking down the isle, I was fine. The ceremony went well, except Father Tom forgot our names! He had to find them in his book he was holding. But, he made a joke about when your 62, blah, blah, blah....oh well, not really a big deal! Michael looked very handsome in his tux and couldn't quit grinning. He's so cute!

We went to Loose Park afterwards with the bridal party and took some awesome picts! Then, headed to the reception. We had some cake, ate some Mexican food for cinco de mayo, then danced it up! Everyone seemed to have a great time! Our DJ kept the party going and played some great songs! I was exhausted by the end of the night! But, it was well worth it! Thanks to everyone who was there!

The Honeymoon: We headed to Mexico on Monday, our flight left at 6:05am. We flew into Cancun, and rode in a van for about 45min to our all inclusive Resort in Rivera Maya. It was beautiful there. You could see a veiw of the ocean and the jungle from our balcony! They had tons of pools there. There were all kinds of activities to do and shows at night. We went to Cozumel one day and snorkeled and shopped. That was a lot of fun! We loved it, but were ready to come home at the end of the week. Here's some picts...
