Late Post

Ok, I'm really late on last weekend...but there's not much to tell. And, I didn't take any pictures this last week! I promise to do better this weekend!

Friday, we went on date night at Long Horn. It was great. Sat, we worked around the house. I met my friend Sarah for drinks and to catch up! It was fun to see her! After that, Michael and I went to Cody's house for a small house party. It was fun! Sunday, we cleaned up our yard. There were still a ton of limbs from the ice storm laying around. It looks better, we're still working on it!

Hair, Family, and Friends...

This last weekend was fun and busy...but for some reason, I didn't take any pictures! I took Friday off work and headed to Topeka late morning. I had a hair appt with Chelsie! In case you don't know, she's my brother's girlfriend and in cosmetology school now. She did a great job and I look forward to using her from now on!

From there, I met up with my friend Karen. It had been awhile since we had last hung out. We did a little shopping and then ate and chatted at Old Chicago for awhile. It was lots of fun! I headed to Horton from there. It was great to see my family. We played a couple games, watched movies, and just hung out Friday night and Sat. I ended up going back to KC Sat night.

Sunday, we went to check out Morgan and Jason's new home that they are purchasing! It's very cute and close to our house. It will be nice to have them closer! We all went and ate afterwards at Zarda BBQ. P.S. Tyler is super cute!!!

Monday, I had off work for Martin Luther King Day. It was great. I got to go to Michael's work and take him to lunch. Then, I got a few things done. It was a good, long weekend! Going back to work on Tuesday was tough! ;)

Ok, since I didn't take any picts this weekend...here's Tute wanting to go outside. He wants out so bad, but forgets how cold it is and wants in after about 10 min! He knows that the doorknob opens the door, he just can't turn it! Poor guy, he needs thumbs!

Not doing much...

This weekend was pretty low key. Friday night we went to Oklahoma Joes for date night. It was awesome as usual! Sat, we did some cleaning around the house. That night, we headed to DeSoto for a surprise party for a friend. It turned out great, he had no idea! We had fun visiting with everyone! Sunday, we watched movies all day with Cody and prepared for another fun week or work...

New Years...and weekend.

I can't believe the holidays are over now, but we had great ones! New Years Eve was lots of fun. We met some friends at a sports bar out at the Legends. Browntown was playing...they're lots of fun if you have never seen them! We had a large group there and just danced and hung out all night! We had a great time!

This weekend was nice. We got a few things done, including taking down the Christmas decorations around the house. I love the holiday season, but it's nice to put everything away and get things clean. I feel like it's less cluttered now! Also, Sat night...I watched movies and chatted with some friends. It was nice to have a girl's night!

Our big project this new year is our yard and garage. We need to do a lot of work with the landscaping and the outside of our house. Also, we want to get the garage fixed up so we can hang out in it! We did a lot of cleaning Sunday, working on the garage. It looks much better, but we still have lots to do.
