Halloween Parties and birthdays..

What a busy weekend we had! Friday was Michael's birthday! He opened presents from me after work. That night we met up with some friends and then headed to a Halloween party at our friend's barn. It was fun and there were a lot of good costumes. And, we were....Mario and Princess Peach from Mario Brothers games! Everyone liked our costumes!

Sat, we went to see Lynsey at a craft show. She's selling really nice family trees and braclets. The family tree is like the one she made for their parents' anv. I'll do a blog with the website soon!

That night, we had a Halloween scavenager hunt. Lynsey put it on. It was really fun. We were split into teams of 6 or 7 and had 2 1/2 hours to drive all over the place to find out stuff! Michael and I were on different teams, but had a great time! It was a great idea!

Sunday, we celebrated Michael's birthday with his family. He's 27 now! They came over for dinner. We also opened presents and had cake and icecream! It was a fun weekend, but I'm super tired today!

Pumpkins and OU

This was an exciting weekend. Friday night, Michael and I went to Carrabba's Italian grill. It was ok, we have had better Italian though. By the way, Michael doesn't usually have this much facial hair or look this scruffy, but he's growing it out for his halloween costume!

Sat evening I headed to Ottawa. It was homecoming at OU (where I went to college for two years) and I met up with my friend Melissa for dinner. We ran into a bunch of friends from school and headed to a party to catch up with everyone.

On Sunday, Michael and I met his family for our yearly "getting pumpkins". We go to a place in DeSoto. They have a barn, lots of pumpkins to choose from, home-made goodies, animals, and other country things. It was lots of fun, but very windy!

Dinner Party

Friday night, we had Michael's family over for dinner. We usually take turns having dinner, but it had been awhile since one was held. I made chicken Parmesan, bruschetta, italian salad, and souffles. It was my fancy meal! =) Actually, everything was pretty easy to make, but it sounds fancy. Everything turned out really good and very yummy! It was nice for everyone to get together.
Sat, Michael and I had a nice relaxing day. We ran some errands, including getting things for our halloween costumes. I'm not going to say what we are, but it's going to be good! You'll see pictures soon! That night, we decided to have a good night at home. We got out a puzzle which we got last Christmas, and watched a couple movies while we worked on it. It was 750 pieces, but turned out pretty easy!

Today, we got a few things done around the house. Michael has been helping his friend work on a car, so he went over to Ben's for part of the day. Also, he just finished building a transmission for a crown victoria that used to be my grandma's. He does a great job! Let us know if you need anything rebuilt! =)

Here's a picture of Lola, she was being extra cute today! Wish she was always this good!

Mypublisher Photo Book...

Yea, my Mypubisher book is ordered and being shipped to me! If anyone doesn't know what that is, it's like a photo album, but you do it on the Internet with digital pictures and then they print the photos on the pages that create in a book. They are also know as a coffee table books. I created my pages in a photo editing program and then uploaded each one. You can also let them arrange them for you. It was really hard since my photographers took so many pictures! You can view the book and all the pages at:
http://www.mypublisher.com/bookstore/index.php
My book ID # is: M427950
My password is: 904558

I hope you enjoy looking at it. I should get it in the mail Monday and can't wait!

Homecoming and Birthdays

This was an eventful weekend. Friday night, I headed to Hort0n to go to the high school homecoming game. My sister, Kelsey was a candidate. She was so excited just to be nominated. She had a beautiful dress, I loved it! Before the game, they drove each couple around the track and then announced the queen....KELSEY! I was so excited for her! I ended up watching the game with some friends. It was great to see everyone!

On Sat, I headed to Topeka to meet Karen and Ryleigh at Cold Stone for some yummy custard and a little shopping. Ryleigh is getting so grown up, but still adorable! It was nice to catch up with Karen. After that, I headed back to KC. Michael and I went over to our friend's house, Nate and Michelle's for her birthday party. We had a great time! Today, we are just taking it easy....will probably go on date night tonight since we missed it Friday. If anyone has any awesome restaurants that we need to try, let me know!!!

The Weekend

Ok, so I'm late in updating this last weekend, but I've been super busy. Anyways, we didn't do too much. Friday, Michael and I went on date night to Bonefish Grill. Our friend Sarah works there and was our bartender/waitress. It was really good! My steak was super tender! Everyone should go there! Sat, while Michael was at work, I did a good fall house cleaning. It needed it and now it looks so much better. I always feel better with a clean house! That night, we went to see Browntown play again out at Danny's. Sarah and Cody went with us. We had a blast! Sunday, we did a little work around the house. It was a nice weekend!~
