Dinner Party

Friday night, we had Michael's family over for dinner. We usually take turns having dinner, but it had been awhile since one was held. I made chicken Parmesan, bruschetta, italian salad, and souffles. It was my fancy meal! =) Actually, everything was pretty easy to make, but it sounds fancy. Everything turned out really good and very yummy! It was nice for everyone to get together.
Sat, Michael and I had a nice relaxing day. We ran some errands, including getting things for our halloween costumes. I'm not going to say what we are, but it's going to be good! You'll see pictures soon! That night, we decided to have a good night at home. We got out a puzzle which we got last Christmas, and watched a couple movies while we worked on it. It was 750 pieces, but turned out pretty easy!

Today, we got a few things done around the house. Michael has been helping his friend work on a car, so he went over to Ben's for part of the day. Also, he just finished building a transmission for a crown victoria that used to be my grandma's. He does a great job! Let us know if you need anything rebuilt! =)

Here's a picture of Lola, she was being extra cute today! Wish she was always this good!

Mypublisher Photo Book...

Yea, my Mypubisher book is ordered and being shipped to me! If anyone doesn't know what that is, it's like a photo album, but you do it on the Internet with digital pictures and then they print the photos on the pages that create in a book. They are also know as a coffee table books. I created my pages in a photo editing program and then uploaded each one. You can also let them arrange them for you. It was really hard since my photographers took so many pictures! You can view the book and all the pages at:
http://www.mypublisher.com/bookstore/index.php
My book ID # is: M427950
My password is: 904558

I hope you enjoy looking at it. I should get it in the mail Monday and can't wait!

Homecoming and Birthdays

This was an eventful weekend. Friday night, I headed to Hort0n to go to the high school homecoming game. My sister, Kelsey was a candidate. She was so excited just to be nominated. She had a beautiful dress, I loved it! Before the game, they drove each couple around the track and then announced the queen....KELSEY! I was so excited for her! I ended up watching the game with some friends. It was great to see everyone!

On Sat, I headed to Topeka to meet Karen and Ryleigh at Cold Stone for some yummy custard and a little shopping. Ryleigh is getting so grown up, but still adorable! It was nice to catch up with Karen. After that, I headed back to KC. Michael and I went over to our friend's house, Nate and Michelle's for her birthday party. We had a great time! Today, we are just taking it easy....will probably go on date night tonight since we missed it Friday. If anyone has any awesome restaurants that we need to try, let me know!!!

The Weekend

Ok, so I'm late in updating this last weekend, but I've been super busy. Anyways, we didn't do too much. Friday, Michael and I went on date night to Bonefish Grill. Our friend Sarah works there and was our bartender/waitress. It was really good! My steak was super tender! Everyone should go there! Sat, while Michael was at work, I did a good fall house cleaning. It needed it and now it looks so much better. I always feel better with a clean house! That night, we went to see Browntown play again out at Danny's. Sarah and Cody went with us. We had a blast! Sunday, we did a little work around the house. It was a nice weekend!~

Going Home...

This weekend, Michael and I headed to Horton to see my family. We hadn't been back for about 3 months. We had a great time. It's always nice to go to the farm. It's like a mini vacation. We brought Lola. She didn't like sleeping outside, but loved all the space to play and the new smells. While we were there we played outside, had game night, and celebrated my mom's birthday. Also, she just re-did her kitchen. It looks great! We hope to make it home more often!

Social Suppers and the Lake

On Friday, Kelli and I decided to try something new for lunch. We headed to Social Suppers in Prarie Village during our lunch break at work. It's really neat, you go and choose which dinners you want to make, then follow the directions on each station to prepare your dishes. They are ready to be thown in the freezer for when you are want an easy meal. Check it out at... http://www.socialsuppers.com/ You can also arrange to have parties there!

This weekend was busy, but fun. Friday night, we hung out with friends around a fire pit. It was cold, but the fire helped. Sat, we headed to Lake Perry for customer appreciation. They had a dinner, a dj, and prizes. We had a lot of fun chatting and hanging out. And, I won a microwave! I never win, so that was so exciting!!! Sunday, we didn't do too much. I cleaned the house and it looks so much better! I always feel good when it's clean.

Photography Portfolio

Ok, I just added links to the photo sessions that I have taken. They are displayed on the right of this page. They are not all of each session, since that would be a ton, but some of my favorites from each one! I'll keep adding to them as I do more. I figure the more I take, the better they are going to get! (or at least I hope!) I'd love to hear feedback on them too! Thanks to everyone for all the support I've been getting!

T-Rex

Thurs. night, we celebrated Ron and Janis's anv. We had a nice dinner for them. Lynsey made this awesome family tree. It was a great, creative present!~

So this weekend wasn't too eventful, which is nice once in awhile. Friday for date night, we headed out to the Legends and tried the T-Rex Restaurant. It was pretty good. The atmosphere was really cool and different! You felt like you were back in the dinosaur age and everything came to life! Here's a couple picts...they use dry ice for presentation for drinks and desserts!

Sat, Michael worked and I worked on catching up with my scrap book. I'm almost there! Sat night, we met Lynsey and Jeff in Bonner to play a little pool. They brought a couple with them, who we also enjoy hanging out with. It was fun to chat with them!

Sunday, we worked around the house and got some things done and had a relaxing evening.

Labor Day Weekend

It was great to have a long weekend! Friday night, as usual, we went on date night. We headed to Old Chicago...the pizza was wonderful! Sat, we drove out to Topeka to talk to a car guy for Michael. He has a '65 Impala SS and wanted to see how much for body work and a paint job. We also visited my Great Aunt and Uncle, Grace and Norris. It was good to visit with them and the family! Sat night, we had a party to go to for Lisa's b-day and her roommate's going away party. It was a lot of fun and I got to see many friends from Pitt there! Sunday, we headed to Lake Perry to spend it with Michael's family. It was relaxing and I got some sun! Mon, we did some cleaning and then relaxed. It was a nice weekend!

Tyler James

Lynsey sent me an email yesterday asking if I could take Tyler's 9 month pictures. I was very excited! Tyler is so cute, and Michael and I's nephew! We had a lot of fun and he did really good! Here's so of my favorites of him!
