Next, we did some sightseeing around the city.We drove past Fisherman’s Wharf, and down Lombard Street…which is America’s crookedest, and very steep street! We stopped at China town and walked through it.There are some great stores with good souvenirs for good prices. We definitely wanted to come back to do some of that later.Jody dropped us off at the hotel so we could rest up a bit before the evening events. We stayed the first night at Best Western Tomo.It was very nice…modern with some Japanese style. The staff was very friendly.I would stay there again.
At 7, we met at a trendy makeup store, Benefit Cosmetics.Jody won a pampering package from them. There were a bunch of her friends that met up with us too.We each received one free service and had our makeup done.It was lots of fun and all Jody’s friends were very friendly and fun to hang out with!Afterwards, we met up with the guys at a bar/restaurant for dinner. It was a wonderful, but long day…we were glad to get back to the hotel since it was two hours later by our clocks!
