Deep Cleaning...

Friday night, Michael and I went to Panera for date night. We didn't feel like going home, so we met Dana up at Side Pockets off 87th street to play some pool. We had a lot of fun, my cousin, Larissa met us there later! It was nice to do something low key, but yet still be out.

Sat, Michael worked and I ran around doing errands and then some projects at home. I have now completed my family wall. I have everyone in my family in a different, black frame arranged nicely on our hallway wall. I love it! That night, we went to Perry Lake. It was lake appreciation. The marina puts on a dinner, dance, and prizes for everyone that has a slip out there and their families. It was a fun event...glad it was good weather, last year was super cold!

Sunday, I met friends at the dog park. Lola had a blast! This time we went to one that's fenced in all the way around, so I didn't have to worry about the park police finding her again! When I got back, Michael went to Ben's to play and I did some deep cleaning. It sounds pretty weird, but I loved it. I had so much energy and like being the only one at home when I clean. I turn some music on and go at it! I re-arranged our spare bedroom and love the results! I put on a quilt that my aunt Elaine made for us. It's so soft, if you click on the picture, you can see the detail better. I love it! I really cleaned the other rooms too. There's just a few things I still need to do. It's amazing how good of mood it made me be in! Love it!

Friday night, Michael and I went to Kristin and Aaron's new house. They have a really cute house in Kansas City, KS. They had a house-warming/Aaron's b-day party! It was a fun, good night.

Sat night, we had another house-warming/b-day party to attend. It was for Lisa Streeter! She just moved into a house over by World's of Fun. It's a ways over there, but a really nice house and location! After eating at Oklahoma Joes with Cody, we all headed over there. Friday and Sat was fun...it's always good hanging out with friends!

Sunday, Michael went to work...but not for his work. He bought another car to fix and sell. So, he worked on it and I did my own side work while he was gone. I had pictures that Judy Williams (the photographer that I'm helping and she's helping me) had given me to do re-touching on. So, I worked on those most of the day. That night, we had a nice quiet evening at home.

Oh, and the kitten's name is......(drum roll please)........Cheeto! Yes, it's silly and different, but so is she! Her favorite thing to do is sit on our feet/shoes! Too cute!

A new addition to our family...

Ok, before you get too excited for other reasons about this heading...no, we're not pregnant, but we have added to our family...

Friday night, Michael and I went to Longhorn Steakhouse for date night. It was good as always.

Sat, Michael worked and I headed to Horton. That night, I attended a wedding shower for my brother and Chelsie. My good friend Karen and her kids were there, so it was fun to see them too! Afterwards, we went to see my aunt and uncle who are in Horton for a few weeks from Las Cruces, NM. Sunday, after church, I cooked for my family and my aunt and uncle. It was a good meal and we had a good time hanging out.

From there, I went to meet Michael and his parents. They had a dinner to celebrate 33 years of marriage! Congrats to them! Also, I brought a surprise with me...a kitten from the farm! She's so cute and sweet! We are keeping her and still need a name. So, any suggestions would be great!

A new laptop!

This weekend was fun. Friday we went to NFM and bought a laptop! It's been fun playing with it all weekend! We have a wireless router, so we can play on the internet all through the house! I'm still figuring everything out on it. Afterwards, we ate at cheeseburger and paradise. They have a drink called Euphoria, it is fantastic!

Sat, Michael worked and I hungout with Jackie. We did a little shopping, ate out for her b-day, tried on shoes for Jody's wedding, and then went to the movies and saw House Bunny. It was cute, funny, and cheesy! That night, Michael went to a party and I hung out at home and watched a movie.

Sunday, Michael went to a classic car show with a friend. After church and when Michael got home, we took a nap. It was so nice...I miss naps! Then, went to eat at The Mixx. On our way back, we stopped and picked up Morgan and Jason and headed to Harrah's Casino. It was fun, we had never been to the casinos here in KC. I didn't win any money, but still had a good time! Morgan and Michael ended up doing alright there. It was fun hanging out with Morgan and Jason!

Monday, we went to my cousin's bbq. It was fun hanging out and meeting new people. It was a good, long weekend. It was nice to have off an extra day! When's the next one???

Ok, I ordered laptop bag. I am so excited, it's so pretty! Good thing Michael won't be carrying it around without me! I'm going to want to carry it with me all the time now! This isn't my computer, but mine looks almost like that:
