Weekend Play

This weekend was my sister's winter play at school. Michael and I were suppose to go Friday and stay til Sun, but Michael ended up getting sick on Friday. So I stayed in KC Friday night, Dana and I saw 27 dresses...it was really cute! Dana just started working at KCM with me and lives close by...so it will be fun to hang out with her!

Sat, I headed to Horton and hung out with my family. That night we went to the play, and then my brother and I went to the local bar, The Wagon Wheel. It was fun, some of my classmates were there that I hadn't seen in awhile. Sunday, we went out to eat after church to celebrate my brother and Chelsie's engagement! Then, I headed back to KC. Oh, and dad wore his shirt and tie we gave him for Christmas. He looks pretty good!

Luckily, Michael felt better yesterday. We ended up going to eat at Jazz with Jason and Morgan. It was a busy weekend, but fun.

Valentine's Day and Love

Valentine's day was lots of fun! My wonderful husband sent a beautiful flower arrangement to my work! It was fun to look at and smell all day. He even picked out the vase on his own. He does so good. That night, we went to J. Gilber's for dinner. It's a really good steakhouse. It was a great day!

This weekend was exciting. Friday night, my brother, Jason came to KC. We ended up going to dinner with Cody and then out to play a little pool. Jason goes to Benedictine in Atchison. On Sat, we headed to the mall with him to pick out an engagement ring for his girlfriend! That night he headed to Horton for a date with her, and he asked her to marry him. I'm so excited, she'll be a great addition to our family! Congrats to Jason and Chelsie!

Sunday has been pretty quiet. Michael's not feeling good, he may be getting the flu...poor guy! I'm just getting a few things done since nothing exciting is going on. I have tomorrow off work, so I'm looking forward to that too.

Going out and Babies...

Ok, so it's been a couple weeks. Last weekend would have been lots of excitement with a wedding and superbowl parties...BUT, I had the flu! I knew it was going around and I have been trying to avoid it, but it caught me. I have to say, it was horrible...but I survived and feel great now!

So, this weekend...

Friday night, we met some friends out at McFadden's Sports Bar. It's right across from the Sprint Center and was tons of fun! It was crazy packed, but they played good music and had a fun crowd. I haven't been out like that in awhile. We will have to go back!

Sat, I went to a baby shower for a girl I work with. Monica is due in a couple months and is super cute! Can't wait for the baby. It was fun to watch her open her gifts. I rode with Laura from work to the shower, so we hit up The Legends before heading home. I found a great pair of shoes for a good price! That night, Michael and I went to the movies and saw Juno. It was really good.

Sunday, we didn't do too much. It was nice to just relax.
